Jaipur, Oct 27 (IANS) Social media on Wednesday remained flooded with interesting memes which mocked at the state government's decision to suspend internet services four times in the last one month to check cheating in competitive exams.

On Wednesday, internet services remained suspended in many districts of the state, including in Rajasthan capital Jaipur, in the wake of RAS-Pre exams.

Three days back, internet services remained suspended in the state for two days.

On September 28, the internet remained suspended during the REET exam.

Devendra Pratap Singh Shekhawat, a social media user, said, "In the last 31 days, this will be the 4th internet suspension ahead of government exams. Rajasthan has the highest number of documented internet shutdowns after J&K, violating the telecom suspension rule."

Lalit Soni, a CA by profession, shared a message from the telecom service provider informing about internet suspension and said, "If you're from Rajasthan, these types of msgs r common. Example of failure of govt system & incapabilities," he commented.

Another user said, "The Rajasthan government blocked the internet today due to an exam. Government trying to punish all Rajasthan because they are not able to stop cheating in exams. It's like they are punishing the whole class."

A Twitter user Manish said, "Again internet ban in Rajasthan.

Fourth time in the last 30 days. How much more nonsense can one state government do? Ruining market, education, transactions just for sake of stopping cheating in exams. Damn.

@RahulGandhi this is your freedom?"

He tagged Rahul Gandhi and marked the hashtag as RAS Exam 2021.

As per official sources, after Kashmir, Rajasthan has become the second state to have seen suspension of internet services the maximum times.

While Kashmir has seen internet services suspended over 300 times in the last 10 years, Rajasthan has seen these services suspended around 75 times.
