Sandland Adventure at Florence and Pacific City

Florence is a small and beautiful city on the Oregon coast.  A weekend on Pacific Coast is recreational offering tons of activities!You can see towering sand mounds across the Siuslaw river. You can also find sea lions at Florence. These sea lion lives in caves along the Pacific coast. 

You can do tons of activities at Pacific Coast. To visit Pacific Beach and Florence, you need atleast 2 days. You can plan your stay at Lincoln city (2 hour drive via OR-18 E). Lincoln city is in middle of Florence and Pacific Beach so better to book hotel here ( 

Sandland Adventure Florence is famous for Sand Dune Bashing. Its better to have a heavy breakfast before starting Sandland adventure ( Check SandLand Adventure operational days before planning your trip because they are closed on specific days of week and couple of months. You can also see Sea Lion Caves on Highway 101 if you are interested. Besides Sandrail tours, SandLand Adventure offers many more activities. Its good to take Dune Buggy tours for senior citizens, pregnant ladies and kids because its slow in speed compared to Sandrail tour and is more relaxing. People can also enjoy mini golf, Go Kart, Bumper Boats and train rides. Its really worth to enjoy all these games.

Recommendations: Covered head, tied up hair, closed toed shoes are highly recommended due to blowing sand. Wear warm clothes on tours. Use glasses provided by Tour driver.
Thors Well: Thors well, a natural sinkhole, swallowing sea water around it is on the Yachats beach. During high tides it''''s a very scenic location. You need to be extra careful during high tides as you can get swept away to the hole.
Lincoln Beach: Lincoln Beach is a crowded but clean place. You can find parking and restrooms close to the beach. Water is warm here as compared to Pacific City so a good place to play in water. 
Pacific City : Pacific City is around half an hour drive away from Lincoln Beach. Weather and water is cooler here than Lincoln Beach. You can park your car on the beach itself. You can see amazing views if you go up to cape Kiwanda hill top. You can enjoy snacks, tea, drinks across the road.

Cannon Beach: Cannon Beach is 1.5 hrs away from Pacific City via US-101 N. Apart from enjoying at beach, you can visit Haystack rock and Ecola Point.

3. Pacific Coast is full of Beaches. Beach closest to Florence are listed here More famous are Pacific Beach, Cannon Beach, Lincoln City Beach.
