1. What is Pseudo-Blood Of Our Own about?
Pseudo-Blood of Our Own is a cross-cultural, crime/drama film which is based on some
true facts that actually have and still happen in British Columbia to date. So in a sense
certain aspects of the film are very realistic.
2. Tell us about your journey in getting this film?
As young as I can remember I always had a great interest in performing arts. From school
plays to amateur dramatics. I have enjoyed different genres of movies from Hollywood to
Bollywood, so naturally as I grew up this passion transcended from modelling into acting.
Being a very hardworking and dedicated individual this finally led to the producer and
director of Pseudo, approaching me for a project in North America. As I want to do character
driven roles and to be a versatile actor, this opportunity was too good to miss and I had
accepted it after reading the script.
3. Tell us about your character?
Well I play the protagonist, a Metro cop, 'Bukhinder Thiara' also known as 'Sleaze'.
The story revolves around him and depicts the affects he has on several other key
members in the film. He's polite yet a very complex character. The film will show the
grisly tour 'Sleaze's character introduces and its irreversible affects.
4. How was your experience working with three other guys from different ethnic
background?
To be honest it's the same as working with any individual, regardless of their ethnic
background. Working with a diverse group of artists with talent and backgrounds is a
common feature of the entertainment industry.
Naresh K15. Tell us about your experience on the sets?
There are so many; but the experience that instantly springs to mind was shooting in
winter with temperatures below -25 degrees centigrade. That was not easy and a lot of our
locations were surrounded with snow covered roads in mountains, so it made it quite difficult
on some days to reach the sets. Some days would last for 17-18 hours as a lot of waiting
around was done for locations to be approved after they were cleared from heavy snow
fall. But experiencing the opportunity to lose myself in another character and to carry out
the 'SWAT' training was extraordinary. Using real guns to fire 'Blanks' was very interesting
yet demanding, just the sheer weight of the weapons made u realize how intensely members
of the police force and SWAT actually train to be on the 'Mark'.
6. Was there any scene from the movie that you had a difficult time preparing for?
I was quite thorough in my preparations as I worked closely with fellow actors and the
director to master the character prior to filming. The most difficulty I faced was the intense
bitter cold of minus 25 degrees centigrade; so deep heat and thermal underwear was my only
preparation lol..
7. What can one expect from this movie
Audience's will be pleasantly surprised and find the film to be very different from what
has come out of North-America in the name of cross-cultural films in the past. One of the
main objectives was to place characters from all different economical backgrounds that come
together for one main goal which is making more money. So the director really wanted to
portray that people from all walks of life do all sorts of thing because of their circumstances.
So the point was not to justify someone being right or wrong, rather to show human nature
at its best and worst. Individuals will do the most unthinkable especially when money and
power is involved and this movie depicts just that.

Well from the moment my character 'Sleaze' enters across the screen you can nuzzle back
into your seats, safe in the knowledge that you are in a concoction of intense, adrenaline
drama and action of emotionally driven scenes of violence, betrayal, viciousness and
falsehood hence Pseudo-Blood of our own being the title. You will see 'Sleaze' and other
key characters pushing themselves to the limit, their characters' fragile sense of self literally
disintegrating on screen, in this crime/drama thriller that thrills.
9. Anything interesting you want to share with us that happened on the sets of Pseudo?
A repeating problem that always happened on the sets was due to extreme cold weather
the HD video cameras were frozen so they had to be warmed up to the recommended
temperatures so they could be operational. This shows you the extreme bitter conditions one
had to work.
