1/19/1931The first Round Table Conference held in London ended. This conference was attended by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar also.
2/15/1936Nabin Chandra Bardoloi, freedom fighter, passed away. He was known for his patriotism and zeal for constructive work and was a forceful and emotional orator and debater and an eminent writer in Assamese litrature. He was also a musician and composed good number of patriotic poems and songs.
10/26/1950Tirumalai Echambadi Srinivasan, cricketer (Indian opening batsman 1981), was born in Madras.
